About Molly McBride
Molly McBride, MSc, RTC
(she/her), Associate Counsellor
Molly is based in the Greater Vancouver area serving clients remotely online.
Molly has a master’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience through King’s College London, UK and is supervised by Craig Wanless, MTC, RCS.
She has a background in addiction counselling, adventure therapy, and workplace wellness management, and has had the privilege of learning about human behaviour and how to guide people towards optimal mental health in several locations around the world.
Her practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy, and Attachment Theory, as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy.
When counselling, Molly likes to take a collaborative approach. Typically, sessions will involve setting goals and intentions in order to guide self-investigation. She excels in creating a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental atmosphere that welcomes honest reflection.
"I believe there's no journey in life more important than learning how to understand yourself and your experiences. Self-investigation can bring clarity and relief, and helps you to make conscious decisions for your desired lifestyle.
Feeling helpless in managing your behavior is common, but counselling can provide direction. I aim to work with you to explore the factors shaping your life."
Molly offers flexible online therapy options to fit your busy schedule. She is available for virtual sessions anytime, anywhere, so you can receive top-notch support from the comfort of your home or on the go.
